Choral Warm-ups

On this page you will find an ongoing collaboration between myself and Dr. Hannah Ryan. The goal is to grow a usable database of warm-ups specifically for choral singers. We will include explanations of the goals of these warm-ups in our videos. Where applicable, links to the exercises without the explanation will follow so you can practice them whenever you like without having to watch the full video introductions. Our hope is that choral singers will be able to use these exercises to spend healthy time with their voices between rehearsals, and that choral conductors may find something here to use in their rehearsals. The exercises are currently divided into ALIGNMENT, BREATHING, PHONATION, REGISTERS, and RESONANCE. We will update this page frequently, so please bookmark and check back!
